Getting started

Install the app

Download the app on the phone from the download page, or scan the code on the front page with the phone's camera, then open the downloaded file. Android asks once to allow installing apps from the browser. A newer build installs over the old one and keeps everything.

When a newer build is out, the app says so at the bottom of its menu.

Add your things

An item's pieces can be in several places at once, each with a status: 38 stored in Drawer A1, 10 in the garage, 2 used, 100 ordered. Tap an item to see where its pieces are.

The dashboard shows how many items, boxes and locations there are, what they are worth, and the items added or edited last.

Fill items from photos (Google AI)

✨ sends up to three of the item's newest photos to Google's Gemini and fills in what is still empty. Get a free key at aistudio.google.com/apikey and paste it when the app asks. Long-press ✨ to change the key or the model and to see how much you used. The key stays on the phone. On the free tier Google may use the photos to improve its products.

Settings

Settings has the default currency and how amounts are written, exchange rates for other currencies, how the item list looks, the sync connection and the Google AI key. Export settings saves them to a file, and Import settings reads them back, e.g. on a new phone.

Keep it in sync

Everything works on the phone alone. To keep several phones in sync, or to let Claude look things up, connect the app to a data server: see Sync with a data server.
